Import mails to Windows Live mail from Outlook 2002

I have do import ALL the mails, from Outlook 2002 to Windows Live mail

The easiest solution without any workarounds:

Create an .pst (File > Data file management > Add > Create and name it on any place)
Move all your emails to the .pst and then import it from windows live mail.

Yes, easiest solution.

exporting to .PST in outlook and then import from windows live mail.

same goes for contacts in the addressbook.  export contacts and import them.

Every time i try it says, "there are no messages in this folder or another application has the required files open.
Select a different folder, or close any programs that have files open."

And outlook is NOT open.

Have you imported the mails to a .pst?

I have importer the files to WIndows Mail, and weill afterwars import them to Windoes Live Mail.
