Hi, I cannot login to the BES web management console. At install I chose to use Blackberry Authetication System. So admin can login fine. But when I create a user it says it will authenticate based on AD. But this doens't work I get wrong/user/domain error. I cant do this locally or remotely and all ports are open. and BES admin has all the nessary rights to be able to login and verify login data. DES encryption has been checked for the users.

When I run NSlookup ldap I get:
Server:  projectfsbox.jayandtony.local
Address:  192.168.0.100

*** projectfsbox.jayandtony.local can't find ldap: Non-existent domain

Can someone help me out?

I had that when I set it up.

Couple of things - make sure you are using non-admin accounts. It shouldn't be installed on the same server as Exchange and might require a couple of reboots.

Not step by step, but I documented my findings here: http://johncock.co.uk/blog/index.php?/archives/12-Installed-BES-Express.html

Ummmmm SBS 2003 has Exchange integrated you are aware of this right?

and Blackberry Express lists SBS 2003 as a valid OS.

This is what you need to do to get LDAP working on SBS 2003 with BES on the same server. So that you can login to the Management Console as a user.

This has to be done for all users that you want to log onto Blackberry Web Desktop Manager
