If your trying to ping DC1 from DC2 (or DC2 from DC1) and getting a destination host unreachable, you have a networking problem. Are the servers on the same subnet? Did something change on the network recently? Did the network config on either of the DC's change recently? What is the results of "ipconfig /all" on both machines?

Ok, so both of them are running in VMware?

Can both DC's ping their default gateway?

What is your router?

Can your router ping both of the DC's?

Definitely a routing problem between the 2 routers then. You'll need to get with your networking guy, or provider & find out who changed what. I may or may not be able to help, routing can get pretty complex, depending on what's going on.
