Joomla JCE source view edit problem

Hi Experts,

I am using a mod_custom module for a Joomla page and with JCE as the editor I am trying to make a drop list.  For some reason when I press update in JCE it wipes out the option value params in my list.  Ex:

<select id='helloWorld" >
  <option  value="http://www.google.com">Go to Google</option>
  <option  value="http://www.yahoo.com">Go to Yahoo</option>
</select>

I add this in the source mode of the JCE editor.  When I press update this is what is saved:

<p><select id="helloWorld">
 <option selected="selected">Go to Google</option>
<option>Go to Yahoo</option></select>
</p>

Code clean up is turned off in the JCE settings.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

HNM

In your Article Manager, there is an Icon near the top right that says "Parameters".

If you click on it and scroll down you'll see a box that says "Filtering Options".

Do you have a blacklist or whitelist selection?

Try Blacklisting all but super administrator.

See if that helps with this issue.

And see this article, which while it mentions Joomla 1.5.8, it applies to all recent versions of Joomla.  Joomla article
