We have the following problem.

Open a sharepoint calendar in outlook
Post an item to sharepoint calendar via outlook
set a reminder for anything other than the default (i.e. default is 15 min for reminder, set the reminder to 1 day)
Save the calendar item
Open the Calendar item, the reminder is reset to the default time of 15 minutes
Change the reminder time back to 1 day and save again
Open the event again and the reminder is now 1 day

Why do we need to save the event twice for the reminder to take? How to we fix this?

thank you

Not what I was hoping for, but seems to be the answer. Hope relationship between outlook, sharepoint and exchange works better in 2010.
