Exchange 5.5 PST export greater 2GB

Hi Guys,

I need some urgent help. I have a live Exchange 5.5 Enterprise server with multiple mailboxes in excess of 2GB in size, some are approx 6GB. Total EDB is 55GB. I know that Exmerge cannot create a PST greater than 2GB, also I know I cannot run Outlook 2003 in Unicode mode against Exchange 5.5. I also know I can't use Outlook 2007/2010, they're not compatible.

I simply need the mailboxes exported into PST format for each user.

Please help, what can I do?

I think the only option you have is to log on to those mailboxes using Outlook 2003 and manually export the entire mailbox to a Unicode PST. It's a kludge, but I haven't heard of any plans yet to update Exmerge to address
this problem.
