Reset or Reformat Passcode for IPod Touch 3G A1318

Hi

I am having an ipod touch. I am using it after 3 months now and i forgot the passcode. Can u please help me in reformatting or resetting the ipod touch ??

So do i have to install iTunes in my PC and conenct the ipod to PC and then restore to factory settings using the itunes installed in the PC ?

Yes. Are you not currently syncing with a PC? This will resultin the loss of any data currently on the iPod.

Yes i havent used itunes in PC yet. That sounds crazy i know...

Thank You md624. i am successfull in the process of restoring it to factory settings. And i experience very easy ways of use in itunes syncing with ipod.
