Have you tried connecting using the IP, not the name?

If you do a nslookup newservername do you get the right IP in the answer?

check the ERAS service on the server, and restart it
check the configuration of this service

You are adding the port number after the server name, right?
Just making sure... on mine it's server:2223.

If you go to Tools - Configuration Editor, you have a section  ERA Server and then SETUP - GENERAL.
There you'll find a Server Name value.  It overrides the computer name.

That one is usually left blank. That way, the server uses the computer name.
