Hi,

Does anyone know how can I can query a DB (MS SQL) from an Flash file, I do not want to use Flashvars within the page.

Unfortunatly Flash/ActionScript 3 does not have the ability to query a server side database. You will need to develop a custom handler on the server say with asp.net, or php for example.
