This can't be that tough(I don't think), but for the life of me-I can't figure out how to do it.  When I try to sync with iTunes, all it wants to do is delete the stuff on my computer to match my phone-but I want to do it the other way around.

What do you mean "all it wants to do"?  What do you mean "the stuff"?

How is it telling you that it wants to do this?  What "stuff" is it saying it wants to delete?

Generally, iTunes will never, during a sync, delete anything on the PC.  Rather, it modifies what's on the phone to match what's on the PC (except with respect to calendar and contact and bookmarks information, where it tries to figure out what's the most recent entry for each item, and propogates that to both devices.

Maybe you could say a little more about the problem you're experiencing, including the exact wording of whatever messages show up on your screen.

I have wiped out all of the favs/bookmarks on the phone and want to simply copy all of my favorites/bookmarks from IE on my computer to Safari on my iPhone.  When I do a sync-it DOES want to delete all of them on the computer(See attached image).

I was able to export my IE bookmarks into an html file, but can't figure out how to import it into my iPhone.

Ok, I see what you mean.

Should be easy:  in iTunes, with the iPhone connected to the PC, choose your phone from "Devices" in the lefthand column.

Then, choose the tab labeled "Info" at the top of the screen.

Scroll down to "Advanced," and under "Replace the information on this iPhone," check "Bookmarks."

On the next sync, the PC will replace the bookmarks on the iPhone (which you don't want) with the bookmarks on the PC.
