How can i use MS COM from Java

Okay, I didn't really have a choice in this.

We have some MS COM objects that were created and still needed for access to a back-end repository.

We want to move the web layer from ASP (vbscript on IIS) to java.  In fact we have to.

So, we need to be able to use this COM object from Java.

We'd be using current java 1.5 or 1.6.  The COM of course is old, but still works on the platform where we would make the calls from.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
