Gday all, I would like to get the KPI functionality on our company sharepoint site, I have read about it via this site: Create and Publish KPI's, however it seems to be only for Server 2007 and we have 2003. Without stating the obvious (upgrade to 2007) is there some way I can get this functionality on the 2003 sharepoint?
Thanks.

The best option is to create reporting services reports, and to embed them into your application.
The KPI functionality from 2007 won't work within SharePoint 2003 because SharePoint 2007 is using a different dll.

These are just normal reporting services reports but use the web services to get the data.

You need to download sql server with additional tools and install reporting services, preferable 2008 r2.
Create a content editor web part
<iframe src ="http://servername/reportserver?/FolderName/ReportName" width="100%" height="300">
  <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
</iframe
