Does anybody know where is the location for KB909544 as per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832880? Tried Windows Update but it is not there.

I installed Windows SBS 2003 using original CD with no Service Pack and the Intranet installation failed (it is a known issue). But to rectify the issue, I cannot find the patch anywhere. I will perhaps contact Microsoft Support later if this question does not give result.

While Windows Update provides you with updates specifically for Windows, Microsoft Update expands the service to download and install updates for other Microsoft software, such as Microsoft Office and Windows Live. Automatic updating is a feature that allows you to set your PC to automatically download and install updates using either service, making it easy and convenient for you to keep your Windows PC current.

You can receive updates from the Microsoft Update service by setting it up through the Windows Update control panel in Windows Vista. You'll also have an option to sign up for the service when you set up a new Microsoft program, such as Microsoft Office or Windows Live.

Enabling Microsoft Update to keep Office 2003, Windows Live, SQL and other Microsoft Products Secure and Up-To-Date

http://blogs.technet.com/b/mu/archive/2009/03/20/enabling-microsoft-update-to-keep-office-2003-office-xp-and-other-microsoft-products-secure-and-up-to-date.aspx

After enabling Microsoft updates and then running updates again will show you updates for Sharepoint.

Just A thought,

Yup I've tried that before but KB909544 still is not listed in the available update list. I want to apply this update for Sharepoint on Windows Small Business Server 2003 actually, not Vista.

My Point was to differentiate between Windows and Microsoft updates, by default everyone will try to update Windows and it will will not showing you all other Microsoft updates until and unless you select that option. When you go on default Windows update page on right hand side below Automatic update you will see option to select all other Microsoft product updates.

Do you see updates for other products like MS office, Windows Live.... what all product updates you see?

TheMak,

I re-run the Microsoft Update following your suggestion (http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us) and it listed all the available updates like Exchange, SQL Server, but none of them is KB909544.

But I finally found the file from http://catalog.update.microsoft.com.

Thanks anyway for your help!
