Hi,

Can you please tell me how to create a simple Report using SSRS and data source is a XML file?

I know how to create report using SQL Server Table as a Data Source but I don't know how to use a XML data source.

I'm using Visual Studio 2008(BI Studio 2008).

Thank you.

for creating a report on XML data source, you need to create a datasource of type XML.

Within the datasource, you can specify the XML file as a source file for the data.

The process of creating a dataset and and reports remains the same.

For more details on this, please refer to the microsoft article
