Hi Experts,
maybe this is a very easy question.
I have running joomla 1.5.
On my homepage I want to have a section with latest news and most read articles.
But I am not sure how to arrange it .
Can you tell me step by step how it works ?

Go to Extensions> Module Manager> Hit New> choose Latest News>next

Give your module a title.
Choose what position you want it to appear in and set parameters according to your preferences.
Maske sure module is enabled
Hit Save and Job done.
Do the same for most read articles.

The module is on the right side of my site.
But how to get it above my content ?
Where can I check which sections I have in my template?

after the url of your home page type ?tp=1

eg http://www.yoursite.com/?tp=1

This will show what module positions are available on your template. Simply type that name of the position into your module position. If there is no position available above your content you will have to alter the template.

Have you Caching set? Select all and Clean Cache under Tools menu

In the module parameters make sure you have a section and category numbers correct or try it without any numbers.

Ok I cleaned cache.
I have no section or category numbers.
I just have uncategorized content.

Under NEWS or MOST READ nothing appears, no link or no content.
