Hi,

what permissions does a folder need, so office 2007 programs can save in a personal homefolder ?
We have a situation that only office applications are unable to save to the homefolder. They can save in other shares.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Kind Regards,
Alex

A user only need the write permission to save work to a folder. There are no special permissions required for Office docs other than this. Can the user save other documents to their folders? If so then perhaps file screening is enabled? See http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Implementing-File-Screening-Windows-Server-2003-R2.html
