P2V CCM 4.3 (W2k3) - problem w/boot

I've been trying to convert my Cisco Call Manager (CCM 4.3, W2k3) many times with the same result:
- Conversion complete, boot up VM, it loads, asks me to enter username and password and as soon as I do it tells me that Windows must be activated before I can continue.
I click OK, and black Command Prompt windows appears with the path on the top: C:\ImgCustTemp\deploypkg.exe. That's it. Once I let it sit for hours - nothing happens.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi

Is this a Windows Server Appliance Edition? If yes, you cannot P2V a SO like this. There is no way you can activated this type of Windows.

Or is this a Windows OEM? If yes, is not legally to activate a Windows OEM in a different hardware. And a P2V is a second machine, so is not legal. But you can by pass this, but is not legally.

Yes, it is Windows Server Appliance Edition. It doesn't even get to activation, it get's stuck on deploypkg.exe, is this the reason?

What are my options if that's the case? Obviously I'm not trying to steal it, I'm trying to avoid a disaster followed by costly upgrade since I don't need it - my phone system as it is does all we need, but the server is getting old and will fail sooner or later. And of course MSC 7800 series is EOL long time ago...
