Hello

We have a Quickbooks 2006 Premiere Accountant edition, we are moving to Windows 7 and SBS08 and must upgrade, but 2011 Pro is cheaper than Premiere. What functionality am I losing if moving from 2006 Premier Accountant to 2011 Pro?

From the Quickbooks site, Priemier has: "All the features of Pro plus advanced reporting and tools tailored to your business and industry.
View customized sales and profitability reports
Run 'Cost to Complete Job' reports
Track your balance sheet by class with an easy to access report "

Preimeir is mor for analyzing of data by accountants. Following is a comparison chart:

You might want to confirm with sales that you can upgrad from 2006 to 2001 directly. I think you can but a 5 version jump years ago required middle steps or Intuit intervention. Also make sure you can downgrade your data file from premier to pro. I am 99% sure you can but you cannot downgrade pro to non-pro
