I need to disable/hide a submenu under Opportunities.  When I open an Opportunity, I see a submens for "CRM Comprehensive Notes".  I cannot find this submenu anywhere, however, to hide it. I exported the sitemap.xml and looked in customizations but cannot find this link.

My approach was going to be to run the following javascript onload of Opportunites but I cant find what to put in the "navAreaToRemove":

// Function:
var removeLeftNav = function(navAreaToRemove)
      {
            if (document.getElementById(navAreaToRemove) != null)
                  {
                        document.getElementById(navAreaToRemove).style.display = 'none';
                  }
      }

Thanks

Hi apollo7,

Can you just take a screenshot of the menu item you want to hide and post it here?

Hi apollo7,

This one can be easily controlled by editing the relationship between Opptys and CMS Activities entities.

Check this image : http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_73OmG38HHME/Sg2G3D2ApkI/AAAAAAAAAFI/m-LzITqT-6c/s1600-h/child_5.jpg

See the display option, set it to Do Not Display and Save and Publish the changes.

Let me know if this is not what you are looking at. Doing it with JavaScript will be bit complex but if you need to hide it all the times then this is the way.

Chinmay
