Mac OSX Contacts Problem ---- continues to delete contacts

Hey Everyone,
I have a VERY weird problem on my hands. A end user of mine is having a problem with his contacts continually being deleted from the Mac OSX Address Book. One moment he will have 690 contacts and after opening the address book, iCal, or some Mac OSX software related to contacts, every contact gets deleted.

These problems arose from recent sync programs....SugarSync and MobileMe are on the system but neither are on or set to sync.

Processes running in memory and the result;
SyncServer ---> consumes 80-99% of CPU and eats RAM like it's job.....up to 11.9GB recently.
Mingler ---> consumes 99% of CPU and uses every last bit of RAM ---> runs periodically and hangs the system
AddressBookSync ---> does a combination of the above two.

Use this to reset the sync services (From the terminal type): sudo /System/Library/Frameworks/SyncServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources/resetsync.pl full

Try this to reset the mobile me sync: http://osx.tribenetwork.com/thread/ae96ec6c-c04e-418b-a0f4-a8b9affbb591

Lastly I'd find all of the sugarsync files and remove them completely. When searching on the mac you can open a finder window -> command+f -> click on the "kind" dropdown -> choose other -> add system files to the search and search for sugarsync

Check in the  ~/Library/Preferences folder and look for SugarSync plists, AddressBookSync plists and Mobile Me plists and kill them all

turns out it s an exchange problem...I think. I had to...disconnect the network cable, reload the address book, copy the contacts to the local mac, reconnect the network cable, watch them magically disappear from the address book (not local/on this mac), copied them over the the exchange server side, they updated and the problem is gone.

BUT

I had run a few sync clearing things like alt/option-click the mobile me icon.

Weird.
