Hello and thank you for taking the time out to read my question.

I have a client who has 21 workstations and a big office. The want an instant messanger for their network. Oh and also they don't want to pay for it... I looked around form some freeware, but there ia a lot of stuff out there.

I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. Or better yet, if someone knows of a good one they can recommend.

Thank you for your time and input.

I would recommend Trillian since it's free and lightweight:

Comes with no ads and can be upgraded to support video chat.  One of my clients uses both this and Windows Messenger...this wins hands down in my opinion.
