LAN, WAN, and MAN network development for businesses. Nearly every financially sound business uses a handful of computers today. And the more computers the more network components are required. Consulting work is nice because you can support multiple businesses all at the same time. Then offere a range of services from time and materials support calls to ongoing contract support. Works for getting started and then you can scale and add employees if you are successful to roll out fully managed services for your clients. The good thing is it takes knowledge and IT interest to get started. Not a bunch of capital expenses other than maybe some business cards and list some certifications or specific qualifications. I know people who make thousands of US dollars a week now because of this type of work. Just keep one bit of information in mind as word of mouth is often your best freind. Be very honest and explain yourself very well to the people you end up doing work for. they should learn to trust your judgement and expect success. (however only speak if you are 100% sure of the answer, there is no harm in claiming you need to do more research first on a subject)...
