We have had a printer driver crashing our Win Server 2003 print server. It was suggested that we replace the HP Laserjet 2025 Series PCL Driver, and substitute the HP Laserjet 4000 PS driver. Since we don't normally use PS drivers, would the HP Laserjet 4000 Series PCL driver also work as a good substitute?

The HP universial print driver would be your best solution as an alternative to the 2025 driver

If you must use the 4000 series driver then the PCL will work just as well as the PS as HP uses an emulated PS on both those printer models anyhow.

We used the 4000 Series PCL driver. So far, it has been working. Thanks, guys!
