how to reset background color on a label

hello
 I have a slot machine program that changes the background colors of labels but i need to reset them to their default color when a new game starts how do i do that in VB8.  gray and light gray are not the right shade. i have been using the following to change colors

slotlabel1.backcolor = color.green
