I am updating McAfee keeping receiving the message "An error has occurred in the script on this page" when I try to run an update on the McAfee software
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate.

I'd suggest uninstalling the McAfee software, and then reinstalling it from their website.

I would also suggest, once your subscription runs out, that you look for a suitable alternative, such as Kaspersky or ESET, as McAfee is one of the most inadequate anti-virus programs around!

Good luck !
