Sharepoint list id numbering
Hi
I have a infopath document library that auto increments the next form number from the previous id value in the library. I cannot seem to modify this id field value as it is designated by SharePoint, I believe. I have a requirement to start records on this library from 1000. I do not wish to create 999 infopath forms to reach this figure. Is there anyway to manipulate this id field value in SharePoint? Or should I use another way to autoincrement form numbers? I am using vb.net code to submit the form.
Regards
Chas

I now know you cannot control the SP list id number, thanks. As you say create your own id number.
