I work IT in a school district that uses a piece of software called "NetSupport School." It's used to monitor what students are doing and control their online access. The NetSupport School screen displays all the individual workstations with a little display of what is currently on the screen of the individual users. The display also has their login name displayed on the teacher PC. The students use a student ID instead of their full name. If you look at the properties of a user in AD Users and Computers you will see their First and last name as well as display name. I was wondering if there was a script that I could run to change the display name to their first name then last name. Right now I've been going through and doing this manually but there are over 1500 users and that is a big job. I've attached a screenshot of one of the property sheets.
