ATI Mobility Radeon 5650 drivers needed for XP....

I have an HP laptop with the ATI Mobility Radeon 5650. I need to find XP drivers for this.

Everywhere I go seems to have either incompatible drivers, or drivers only for Vista/Win7... Any help? They don't even have to be very good drivers as long as they give basic functionality. It's going to be used in a work environment, not a gaming one...

@santos - Both links are broken...

@Grant - Didn't work. It installed Radeon 4200 drivers that cause my whole screen to go black once windows is loaded. I have to boot using VGA mode to be able to see anything. Once I change any setting related to the video card everything goes black and I have to reboot (waiting 30 seconds does not restore the settings either...)

I'm trying to configure an HP dv7-4060us with XP

Please dont close thi question ,

Links provided by me are not broken screen shot attached.

Unfortunately at the time I needed this issue resolved, the links were not working (on multiple computers). I've already put too much time into this laptop looking through various fixes and drivers. I resorted to putting Windows 7 back on the laptop and configured it to run the client's desired application through 'XP Mode.'

I'm now able to use the links that you previously provided, however at this time I will not be able to verify whether they would have resolved my issue. Hence the closing and deletion of this question.

links were working from day 1, we are here to help people not mislead . I wouldn't waste time in posting something which is not working:)

Agreed, I'm an active member in the support community and do my best to feed back to the community on this site by providing my own knowledge and expertise. I don't doubt the links were good. And now that I think about it, our office had a strange internet issue the day I was trying to download those files (couldn't connect to some of our servers through .rpd yet they were still accessible outside our office) so I'm sure the reason I wasn't able to access the links was due to something related. I'm going to give you the points for this because it looks like those links are for the correct drivers and should work, but as I mentioned, I just don't have the time to put into that laptop.

Thanks again for your help and prompt response when the question was first posted. And I apologize for any confusion this thread may have caused.

Points are being assigned on a theoretical basis. I was unable to test the fix at the time of it's post, however due to the nature of the situation, I strongly believe these links would have solved the question that was asked.

Thnx !!!
