How to include quotation marks as text in an Excel formula
Hello,
In Excel (2007), how do you get a quotation mark to be included as text itself rather than its usual role as a text indicator?
For example, suppose you are creating a line of text by combining the text in several cells with various connecting text and the resulting formula includes this:
...&B5&"|,|"&C5…
where the vertical bars (|) represent quotation marks. In other words, it needs to include the text :
"," (quotation mark - comma - quotation mark)
Is there a way to do that?
Thanks
PS Would the word "concatenate" be appropriate to use somewhere above? I've seen it before and looked up the definition but I don't really understand the correct usage. Thanks
