Note: I'm taking a class.

How do I determine the VSAM CLUSTER control interval (CI) size and how many Control Intervals the Control Area (CA) can contain?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

look at the IDCAMS LISTC output.

What you posted in job1.txt or job2.txt is truncated at the right!
You should set your terminal to 132 columns or scroll to the right using <F11>.

The line starting with ""KEYLEN" in the "ATTRIBUTES" section should show the attribute "CISIZE" at the right,
and the line starting with "RKP" in the same section should show "CI/CA" at the right, just below "CISIZE".
