Dell Latitude C640/ laptop Network Controller Driver Issure

My Device manager has  yellow question mark under other devices Network Controller I have been to the Dell website driver download page  http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen

I installed everything I could, I still could not find the drivers. I downloaded an unknown device identifier  called UKD http://www.halfdone.com/ukd/ It states the following;
 Network Controller
 Broadcom Corp BCM4306(??) 802.11g Wireless NIC

I have the Belarc Advisor info on my machine but not sure how to post. Please help me find the drivers for my Network Adapter

I will try but why does it say Broadcom Corp BCM4306(??) 802.11g Wireless NIC in the unknown device programs?
sirocco87

Because thats what the chip really is. Dell just used the chip, made a few modifications to the packaging and released it branded with their own name.

1.) Download the software
2.) Extract the files
3.) In Device Manager, right click on the device and hit properties
4.) Click on install/update driver
5.) Make sure you choose the option that lets you manually select the driver "let me choose"

That message indicates that you asked the wizard to look in a certain place for the files. You need to choose the option that lets you manually select the file.

This driver  should work for you if you install it manually and ignore the warnings

Great job as usual MASQUERAID the driver worked fine. Thanks so much.

Edbedb I checked his driver first. He has helped me in the past and i respect his expertise. I never tried your driver to see if it would work, but both MASQUERAID's suggestion and yours are clearly two different drivers and i can't imagine both being right, but maybe i am wrong. If anyone knows if the driver Edbedb is correct please post. I will leave this open till at least morning, thanks!

The driver I gave you should work but the one from MASQUERAID is the exact correct one.
