Hello,

I have a Power Edge Server running Server 2003 Std. I have set it up as a Primary DC, AD, DNS, DHCP and is a Fileserver for 200+ users. I also have Exchange 2007, Citrix XenApp and 5 very important application servers. I have one server that is a second domain (child domain) and is used out side of our head quarters.

I purchased a new server with Server 2008 Enterprise R2 and I want to run VMWare (Free) and virtualize Fileserver (Data) away from AD, DNS, DHCP. This server is very important and I must plan this project successfully. I'd like to know what the best way to migrate my data from the 2003 server over to my new physical server 2008? I need specific information, please no links to technet.

Thanks,

nimdatx
