Automatic Update for Root Certificates Repeating - Win XP Pro
I am running Windows XP Pro. If I open up "Microsoft Update", I don't get any updates showing up as required. In "Microsoft Update", selecting "Review your update history" shows that I've successfully installed both "Update for Root Certificates [October 2010] (KB931125)" and "Update for Root Certificates".
However, my task tray "Automatic Updates" keeps popping up telling me I need to install these root certificate updates (above). It asks for one at a time. If I install one, roughly a minute after I finish the update, it pops up again and tells me I need to install the other one. This keeps going - one, then the other - and I'm not sure why.
I have NOD32 antivirus on my laptop and have run a full system scan. I have also run a full scan with BitDefender's web based scanner. Both have returned a clean bill of health.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Mike
