Backup Exec Access Denied
Hello,
A few days ago I started receiving errors on my usual backups. I am running Veritas Backup Exec 9 with 1 remote agent. It backs up the server that it is running on but errors when it tries to backup the remote server. The error reads Access Denied. The log reads Access is denied. Security errors. Unable to initialize Remote Agent for Windows Servers – performing standard backup. It then lists many files saying Error reading security data stream and then lists the file again saying Access Denied.
The host server is running Windows 2000 server. Both servers are file servers, no exchange.
Nothing was changed before this started happening.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thank you

Make sure that the backup job is being ran by a user who is a member of backup operators.
ASKER
It is being ran as administrator. Nothing was changed prior to these errors.
Anything helpful in the logs?
