Outlook 2007 My Calendar missing

I have a user that has a his calendar missing from the Folder list and "My Calendars", if I right click on the Calendar icon and pick open in new window, he will be able to view it. I am wondering how I can get the calendar back to show under Caledars - "My Calendars".

I have tried repair, removing profile.

Thanks

Is this an exchange calendar or just one in a PST?

Two thoughts here.

1) The navigation pane might be corrupt.  (probably not, but worth trying).   Try starting outlook with the /resetnavpane option.

From the run command, enter:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe " /resetnavpane

Note that this remove all favorite folders and >>should<< bring your missing calendar back.

2) If the calendar is missing from the folder list as well, how are you opening it?  When you select "Open in New Window," where does the calendar appear?

It is an exchange calendar.. the defualt for the user. You can see the calendar normally on OWA. No matter what outlook (user's laptop or a terminal server) the calendar is missing from Outlook.

I have tried the /resetnavpane with no luck.

We can veiw the calendar by right clicking the Calendar Icon and pick "open in new window"

Hmm...  Good one.

Two other things to try:

1) Once the calendar is visible, try right clicking on it under my calendars (assuming it shows there now) and selecting propertied.  From there, select the home page tab and click "Restore Defaults"    I saw a post elsewhere indicating that this might help.

2) Try a repair of Office?

(does this happen if the user mailbox is accessed on another machine?)

The repair didnt work..

When I open it in new window, it will not appear in "My Calendars"..

Also when you go to folder list and try to add a new folder called Calendar, it will tell you that it already exists.

Does it show if you open this exchange account on another machine?

No. I tried it on a Terminal Server and it willl not show there. This is very odd.

Yeah, "odd" sums it up.  What version of exchange is this?

I meant deleting the Exchange mailbox, not the local or AD user.

I was going to do that for last step, but it seems I am at that point.
