Running Gpresult iand getting a message "error:not found"
I am running VMWare workstation on my windows7home premeium laptop and install Windows XP and server 2003 on virtual machines. I need to test group policy on this virtual network So I creatd GPO and policies on server 2003 Every thing runs fine but when I run gpresult on windows xp machine I get error "ERROR: Not Found" gpupdate/force
runs fine on same machine. On server gpupdate and gpresult both run fine.
If you have experienced with this type of problem or have any idea whats going on please let me know and I will appreciate. But please don't throw the links out of the google because I already tried almost all of them and none of them helped.

If you power down the Virtual Machine(s) you should be able to change to NAT. If not, there is something wrong with the VMware installation. If the latter, you can uninstall, restart and reinstall VMware. But NAT should work just fine (even for testing your issue). ... Thinkpads_User
