Failover Cluster Manager Failure on disk delete

The operation has failed.
Failure removing storage resource
error code 0x80071371397
The operation failed because either the specified cluster node is not the owner of the resource, or the node is not a possible owner of the resource.

Here's what's happened:
I'm trying to build a clustered print server with Windows Server 2008R2 on VMWare vCenter Server V4.1.0 using the same client V4.1.0. The SAN in the backend is NetApp SAN with SnapDrive V6.3.0.4601.
Since I'm prone to messing things up because there is no "step by step" documentation on how to do this, I've run across the above error.
A previously connected SAN resource was deleted "somehow" I don't really need it back cause the failover of the print spooler works without it.
I have a housecleaning tasks I would like to perform before loading drivers on this beast and deploying printers to my clients.
Make this previously deleted disk go away from the Failover Cluster Manager Storage area...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Go to the disk resource properties
check for any dependency for the resource, remove the dependencies.
If there is no Dependant resource, reboot the passive node and delete it to make sure if it not holding any path
