How to save Excel 2010 to Sharepoint 3.0 on SBS2008

Hi Folks,

I have SBS2008 which seems to come with Sharepoint 3.0
I have Office 2010

Should I be able to create/open/save excel 2010 documents to this sharepoint?
If so, could you point me towards some easy docs (step-by-step) or a simple list of how to do it.

I read some things about Sharepoint 2010 on SBS2008, but it seems a 'hack' rather than something thats supported.

ASKER

I neglected to state in the orginal question; but I meant to ask if there was a way to directly upload the doc from excel, rather than saving to local disk, then uploading.

Thanks for all the comments, its been really helpful.  I've used Alfreso a little and notice they have some toolbar buttons for office which integrates nicely.  I guess nothing similar for sharepoint?

Part of my question was inspired from playing with the sharepoint desktop application in office 2010.  Seems to only work with sharepoint 2010.
