Encrypt a flash drive

I'm wanting to encrypt the contents of a flash drive so that if I ever lose it my data on the drive will be protected.

It is very important that I be able to decrypt the drive on any computer I plug it into without needing to install additional software.

It is also needful for me to be able to write strait to the drive and not have to write to a file on the drive.

Not sure if such a thing is possible.  Please advise.

Yeah, I've already been messing around with trucrypt and although it is a very neat piece of software, it isn't what I need as I need to have it installed on any computer I want to access my files on.

That Ironkey looks awesome although a little expensive.  It looks like they have two product lines, the S200 models and the D200 models.  The D200 models look like they're less expensive.  Can you tell what the difference is between those two product lines?

Are there any other less expensive flash drives that have hardware encryption like this?
Sure there are less expensive.
Ex: a Kingston 4GB DataTraveler Locker USB AES 256-bit I found it on ebay (new) with 20euros

Maybe in online shops you pay it more, but isn't 100$ for 1GB.
