I just migrated from Sql Server 2000 to this and I want to go into the db and make some changes.  I don't see how to do that?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

open SSMS (Sql Server Management Studio).
Just go down the tree structure of the database in the left window to change structure and contraints and soforth. To change data, execute a query.

I executed a query that i wanted to run and it runs it but I can't edit the results.
Bob SchneiderCo-OwnerAuthor Commented:
Never mind.  I guess I have to run it as admin.

the result of a query is always readonly.

right-click the table you want to edit and select "edit top 200 rows". if you want to modify the query, open "Query Designer" + Pane + SQL
