That is, is the source a server and is there a regular backup? &nbsp;If no backups and if you cannot find the deleted files in your local machine trash or with a recovery program, then I think you are out of luck. ... I don't have a backup and all our file recovery software programs have been unable to retrieve the files. &nbsp;I had the briefcase residing on our server. &nbsp;I deleted the file from the briefcase on the server. &nbsp;shouldn't it be on there somewhere and when it is removed from the source does it just vanish.

Briefcase is picky and marks its files for synchronization which is what happened here. Sorry that there is no way to recover them. ... Thinkpads_User<br />

we have deleted our files in our briefcase and then it was deleted from the source upon syncing. &nbsp;Anyone know how to retrieve those files. &nbsp;I have used recover my files program and it doesn't find the files anywhere.
