ipod touch, how do I download html file into the ipod touch and then open it with safari

I have an ipod 4G.
I have itunes
How do I download html files into the ipod touch and then open it with safari?
(I just want to be able to read html files, and it does not have to be safari.

First ...connect to a wireless network with your touch
by clicking on [settings] on your touch screen.
Next click on [wifi] and choose network to connect to
Next open up [safari] and navigate to the html web
page that you want to download and click on + button
and then add as [bookmark]...when you want to view bookmarks
click on the [open book icon] and navigate [bookmarks]
to display in safari

Sorry, I didn't give you the right question.  I have some html file on my (windows) pc.  I want to transfer these files onto the ipod touch, and be able to open these html file.
