Exchange 2007 and Windows 2008 AD / DNS
My mail server receives email perfectly. When I send a message from Outlook, it goes into my sent folder but never gets delivered, internal addresses or external addresses. I do not get an error message, nor does the message get queued. When i try using message tracking, it doesn't even show the message as being sent.
can you try using the OWA
ASKER
owa does the same thing....
I am thinking it has something to do with DNS and the mx records to route mail automatically

first make sure that 2 users can send/receive internally, can you do that, any errors in the application logs on the exchange
ASKER
I cant do that. Should I try disjoining the mail server from the domain and rejoining it? I recently changed from 2003 to 2008 AD using same domain name and different dc names and addresses
no don't do that.
any errors in the event viewer, make sure that all of exchange services are running

anti spam is enabled but no smtp addresses... I disabled antispam, all services are running, I have restarted a few times.
any errors in the event viewer
ASKER
process MAD.exe pid=3344 exchange active directory provider has discovered the following servers with the folling characteristics.... event id 2080 Informational
and when you send no errors are there, are those messages appear in the drafts folder?!
ASKER
from owa they go into draft, in outlook they go into sent.
