Webservice hosting in IIS 7.0

Hi,

I am a newbie so i need a step by step guide to help me host my webservice in IIS. I have a webservice I have written using c# .net framework 2.0 . I need to host this in a computer of one of our clients,what is the way to do that? Can you help me? If the guide is step by step and clear I would appreciate.

By the way operating system is Windows Server 2008 R2 x64

Hi,

Please follow the steps in this web page to deploy IIS7.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731252(WS.10).aspx

Then in this webpage to deploy a typical web service from within Visual Studio.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/s9w05e9b(v=vs.71).aspx 

You can also do it with Windows Explorer, just copy the asmx files and assemblies.

You may want to change the web.config configuration file for customized settings.
