Adding an Enterprise CA to the mix

I am adding an enterprise CA to my active directory environment.  At present, the only things in my network that are at all affected by certs are the mobile devices (all iPhones) which connect to our Exchange 2003 server via active sync over VPN.  The is currently no outside SSL and we do not use OWA.
I know that there is a cert assigned by default to the IIS ActiveSync page on the exchange server.  Will adding an enterprise CA affect that cert in anyway?  I have messed with that cert in the past and knocked email on the phones, so I don't want that to happen again.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

After adding the enterprize CA you can still use the other certificate.

Does ActiveSync simply continue using the cert it's got?

Yes you assign the certificate which you are using currently to activesync.
