excel 2003: differet versions of sp3?

when I open excel 2003 then go to Help-->About microsoft excel, I will  see the following at the top of the form that appears on my computer....

'Microsoft Office Excel 2003 (11.8324.8172)SP3'

Nonetheless, one lady I know shows something different on her computer...

'Microsoft Office Excel 2003 (11.8231.8221)SP3'

...notice her number is lower than mine...

also, some of my vba intensive excel files do notwork on her computer.

I was thinking... since her number is lower than mine, does that mean she has an older version of sp3?

Are  there different versions of sp3?

could this difference cause files to work on my comp and not on hers?
