Error in MS Dynamics CRM 4.0 outlook plugin - keep disconnecting

Hi

I am having a problem with one of our Dynamics CRM users

They are using the Outlook plug-in to connect to our internet hosted CRM. After a few minutes of using the CRM, the user is disconnected from the Outlook CRM plug-in and has to log in again. After logging back in they are disconnected again a few minutes later. This happens continuously.  Some days it works fine though without error then will start again.

The user is also receiving an error when sending emails that are tracked to an account:

"An error occured promoting this item to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM server could not be contacted or the user has insufficient permissions to perform this action. Do you want to send the e-mail? If you click Yes, the e-mail will be sent out, but no corresponding activity will be created in Microsoft Dynamics CRM"

All our other users are having no issues. I am able to log in as this user on another PC and have no problems with disconnections or saving emails so cannot see how it is a permissions problem.

Do you have any ideas or know where I can look for more information?

Thanks,
Matthew Walker

If the user can access CRM from another computer with no problem then it is most probably a problem with the computer itself. Maybe it drops the network connection momentarily, could try replacing the network cable and using a different network port.
definitely sounds like a network issue. in addition to what stacko111 said, make sure you scan for viruses.

Hi
Thanks for the ideas, I have tried the PC on various networks and still getting the error. I have tried scanning for viruses, disabling antivirus, etc with no luck.

We're also getting this error in the event viewer if that helps:
