Coldfusion 9 setup with windows7 (64 bit)

Configuration
Windows7 (64bit)
Coldfusion 9
msaccess (office 7)

I am having difficulties creating a datasource for coldfusion 9. I am unable to find the "system database file" as requested in the coldfusion set up ( see attached image). The file I understand is System.mdw. The access database and program is working correctly, but it does not have a system.mdw file. The datasource does not get created if I do not provide a pointer to this file. I get the following  error message.
"unable to update NT Registry - variable DRIVERPATH is undefined"

any help appreciated

I have never had to fill in the System database file field for an access datasource.
