Error Installing Windows WAIK.

When I try to install WAIK I get this error: This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package.
I down loaded the ISO from Microsoft. It is the KB3AIK_EN File. I am running Windows 7 Professional.
Does anyone have a solutions?

Yes I have downloaded twice and it is the one for Windows 7 or that is my understanding.
Did you burn the file to a dvd or are you trying to run it directly ? It needs to be burned to a dvd.

Or if you dont want to burn to DVD, you can use Daemon tools

More unhelpful "answers" to this problem.  I checked the KB3AIK_En.iso file with MD5 and the result is OK.  I used Nero 11 to burn the image to create the DVD.  When you then look at the resultant DVD in Explorer it shows all the files and folders.  But when you run it to install the AIK you get the corrupt file error and the installation fails.

Very frustrating especially NO ONE has a solution.  Only lots of other people like me asking this question.

You're not even the author to this question, you need to open a question to get additional help. Sometimes questions get overlooked by the experts that have the answer. It doesnt ever hurt to ask it again.
