Data modelling with Delphi / Mysql

I have seen a lot of nice tools for datamodelling like sqlyog, MySqlWorkbench, DevArt's Mydac and so on. Im used to create similar structures with tools like Filemaker and 4'th dimension. The difference is that here i know how to use them in my application. If i create a nice model with Delphi/MySql i find no way to implement this into working code, i still have to hard-code all mysql code. I'm guessing i miss something, but what?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not only Delphi/MySQL, even Delphi/SQLite or any data model paired to Delphi must be hard-coded if the database application is complicated or complex.

But if it is only a very simple db application like browsing record with dbGrid + Navigation_Bar + TEdit_Box?, you don't need to hard-code that,  even adding a report using Quick-Report like drag and drop.

And usually hard-coding with Delphi when programmers develop for system tools and not for db apps, but it depends on the db app as I mention above.

That's all
